I am always so excited when scripture comes alive. When it begins to challenge me - encourage me....when I am awakened to the totality of how The Word can direct in EVERY SINGLE ISSUE I will face. This blog will be through the eyes this "Cartoon World" gal... where The Word DOES come alive through life experiences - both the highs and lows (and everything in between).
To start out right - just let me tell you right now... I am invincible. I know it. And I know this because this life isn't about me - it is about the plans that The Lord has for me which I have surrendered to and will continue to surrender to every day of my long or short life. Plans to further His Kingdom, to share His Love, to spread His JOY.
2 Cor. 4:16 - 18
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17. For our light and temporary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that far outweighs our troubles. 18. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
It isn't about life being glorious and wonderful at all times - it is about seeing each season as part of His Plan, not losing heart because we know where our hope comes from. THAT is where I am at...Keeping my eyes on THE ONE Who has the plans and the means to see them through. And if the circumstances of this world can't crush me - and can't steal the God given JOY - AND I have a relationship with Jesus Christ, who will welcome me with open arms...then...I AM INVINCIBLE.
